A Girl’s Guide to Escorting: Taking a Hiatus or Entering an Exclusive Relationship With a Client
Question: I have been in the sex industry for three years now. I am thinking of being mutually exclusive with one of my clients but I have put a lot of work into my website and marketing. I want to test the arrangement, but if it doesn’t work out, I don’t want to loose all the work? What should I do?
Answer: It’s a great question and it pertains not only to mutually exclusive relationships, but also to sex workers who just need a break to pursue other business, school or personal goals.
Have your Webmaster back up your entire website, save it to a private folder so it can easily be reinstated if you want to come back. Make sure the main page of your site (the INDEX) is still existent.
Make a simple statement that says one of two things:
1 – I am currently unavailable.
2 – I am currently only seeing established friends; please use my contact information I originally provided you to contact me.
Have your Webmaster add all the LINKS from your LINKS page to the main index page, ladies and directories. If you have a mailing list or group feature, keep the sign-up enabled.
Why:
1 – It will encourage sites and other ladies linking to you to leave your banner exchange in place. That way, if you choose to come back after a hiatus or the relationship doesn’t work out, you’ll save about 15-20 hours of marketing work.
2 – Men will know you have not disappeared; you are just unavailable. The will periodically check back to see if your site is back.
3 – By enable your mailing list, if and when you do return, you have a powerful marketing tool to announce you are back to a group of men already interested in your services. That could be the first few weeks worth of appointments, it always take a few weeks and even months for men to realize you are back.
4 – It helps cut down on hobbyist gossip.
If the exclusive relationship works out, and you have no plans of returning to providing to multiple clients, then change the page to say, “I am no longer available, THANK YOU for all the wonderful encounters.” Leave the links in place and add your friends’ banners to the top so men are directed elsewhere. You can also redirect your URL to your favorite escort guide or a friend in the area that is still working.
If you are taking a hiatus to work on personal, business or school, the same principal applies. If your break is to see whether or not you are ready to retire, make sure you really are ready to do so. You can change the page to say – I have retired, or you can just take it all down – one lady I admired retired and her page said “Thanks for all the FISH and it had an animated fish on it.”
Whether You Take Your Site Down Permanently or Temporarily
You should contact all your PAID ad sites and have links taken down. Those are easiest to reinstate.
If you show your face, I would pull all those ads too, as you may not want to be recognized by accident. Other than that, don’t spend too much time taking down advertisements or banners. Once the site goes down, most directories and banners will fall off.
If you take the site out completely, it will take about 60 days for everything to filter out completely.

I sure many of us in harder economic times are looking for ways to scrimp and save. Well – here are my best tips that I put into practice in my own life. My mortgage is more important than certain things.
1. Instead or expensive, custom make up, take a trip to your local Sephora and learn about some fantastic lines – Laura Mercier anyone?
2. Instead of expensive cleansers that set you back $300 or so a pop, take a trip to your nearest Ulta Store. Ulta now carries Exuviance and Coverblend (what all the Beverly Hills plastic surgeons recommend) at much better prices. If you want to go to the next step – go to Target, they now carry NO. 7, a leading brand in Italy and the UK. My oily, sensitive, combination skin loves this crap. And it’s CHEAP, though it’s the most expensive one at Target. $60 bucks gets me the – month supply.
3. Do you have a closet of things you don’t where or want anymore? Well, find the nearest consignment store and take it there. Place like BUFFALO EXCHANGE in LA buy your stuff or let you consign it. You get store credit or cash. I just took a trip in yesterday and got a BRAND NEW Miu Miu dress (originally $160) for $22.50 – the tags from Fred Segal still on it.
4. Don’t like consignment and thrift. Well, Target, Kohls and Payless are all contracting with higher end designers to bring you better quality, lower cost goods. I bought my spring coat from the Simply Vera – by Vera Wang at Kohls for $109.99. It is an amazing thing! I also got a Prada coat at my thrift store. Oh Snap!
5. Instead of $120 facials, invite a few local girls over and make your own. I am sure there are a few escorts in your area they would love a girl’s night in. Everyone bring one facial ingredient and a bottle of wine/food and have a great get together. Mojitos, Make Up and Mischief. WOOO! (There’s a list of facials in our beauty section).
6. Do you have a gym membership you never us, well, ditch it. Even if you have to lie about moving out of state. I know someone you know will let you temporarily use his or her address if that clause is in the contract. Get outside and work out, get a partner – have fun!
7. Get Subscriptions to your favorite magazines – $10-15 buck for year is better than buying 4 magazines a month at cover price of $4.95 each.
8. Go to your local thrift store for books, they are like $1.00 or use Amazon.com. Sorry, paying retail in Barnes & Noble and Borders is stupid.
9. Ditch Starbucks. You don’t need that $3-5 dollar per day habit. Get your own Espresso machine or Coffee Maker. I bought one $400 last year, and that was the cost of six months of going out for me, but its paid itself off and is a staple. And you can make your clients good stuff too.
10. Budgets are like diets, they don’t work. Invest in some financial software and track your expenses, just make sure you are paying things on time and taking care business. Once you watch daily, you will find you spend about 15% less.

Greetings and Welcome to my new blog.
What I write here will be content related to my books and trends in the adult entertainment industry. It is specifically geared towards adult business marketing and development. I believe that adult businesses and their strategies lead mainstream business & their marketing strategy development. And if a mainstream company develops something first, we aren’t afraid to say, “Cool Beans, but I can jack that make it work even better.”Why? Because the Adult industry tends to have more finances allot to experimental production (to see if something will take or not – how do you think such niche markets like BALL BUSTING developed) and the capacity to test things to see if they work or not.
The best adult producers shouldn’t be afraid to pioneer new film style and to try something new. Sometimes, you just don’t know what will POP and catch on. Perfect example, my Studio Erotica productions and online videos, the amount of distribution and popularity of my foot fetish movies are just amazing, my largest markets being in England and Tokyo (who knew!?!?). So go ahead and try something new, and hopefully I my work and writing will help you achieve that.

Providing the Little Extras
Do you want to stand out among all the other massage providers in your area? Want to become known as the “go to” massage person? Well, I have a few extra things I always do for clients that not only shows that I am professional, but I care about my clients to. Most of them have been woven into the previous blogs; but to summarized and added a few:
1. Provide water for clients, hydration is very important during and after sessions. I always offer bottled water to my clients to take home with them. You can also have sparkling water, orange and apple juice for them at your incall.
2. Keep fruit or granola bars on hand. Some of my clients have blood sugar issues and need something. Apples and granola bars are always available. Peanuts and Cashews are acceptable too.
3. Nice towels. You don’t have to buy them at Macy’s, but you need good towels. And don’t let them get raggedy. I replace my towels 3 – 4 times per year. I wash them in hot water and don’t use fabric softener. The stuff is toxic and the perfumes and chemicals stay in forever. Towels especially, they are highly absorbent. I use natural cleansers just in case someone is allergic.
4. Always use clean sheets. Don’t recycle them for other clients; part of being a masseuse is laundry. We do a lot, it is part of our job description. Yep it sucks. Also, sheets get oily and grime in them. So replace them as they get crappy.
5. Confirm your appointments before you provide your incall location, give clear instructions on how to enter and exit so that clients don’t call attention to themselves or to you.
6. Watch the traffic in and out too. Having your client be properly attired, like he is coming for a business meeting, you can ask him bring a portfolio or send him home with a manila envelope. It looks businesslike and professional. Too much traffic bring negative attention. If you are high volume, make sure you do at least 30-40% outcall. I like manilla envelopes with old mag pages in it when touring and working out of hotels, if someone questions me, I am interviewing for a position my company is starting in that area. The client can toss folder later.

Your Massage Business and Advertising
by Callie Simms
One big question is “Where do I advertise as a massage girl? Do I have to use escort directories?” Well, the answer is yes. There are very few dedicated massage directories out there that are any good. Most escort sites have dedicated massage categories and sections.
Question: “Is it gonna be harder for me as a massage person and not an escort specifically?”
Like I stated earlier, offer with you are comfortable with. You services are up to you. Some girls offer more than others. And sadly, most directories allow escorts to advertise in massage sections. I have always thought that these sections should be geared to towards FBSM practitioners only. So in that, I stick my massage ads in escort sections too (like on Eros). Just to even the playing field a bit.
Question: “How can I be UTR on mainstream sites?”
Well, I don’t think you really can. If you have ads posted anywhere, which kind of negates the whole idea of UTR. Let’s say you have only two ads, City-Source.com and ThatMall.com in Los Angeles Massage, then that is semi-under the radar. You are not linked into 100 sites and 20 escorts, but you still have ads. Do less ads cut your risk of LE activity? Maybe yes, maybe no. I think you cut your risk of LE attention on you if you are low-volume, nazi-like in your screening and paying your taxes. UTR to me is a woman with no ads, and works by referrals only.
Question: “What about Reviews, do you have them or not?”
I have done well with and without reviews. When I started I had them on every site you can possibly think of. They seem somewhat necessary until you prove yourself a reputable provider. Once established though, I pulled mine from popular sites that required graphic reviews because I didn’t feel them necessary and didn’t like the cattle meat grading system they felt should be in place. Ladies (and men), one man’s “8” is another’s “4”. And sessions vary person to person. I found the quality of clients increased when I did pull my reviews. I have not suffered since.
Best Sites for Women to Advertise On
- Eros.com
- Cityvibe.com
- SensualZen.com
- FemaleCompanions.com
- MrParlor.com
- DeepRub.net
- SacredEros.com
- EroticIsle.com
- MassageEverywhere.com
- MassageSoup.com
- OpenAdultDirectory.com
- Punterlink.com
Regionally – This varies market to market. Do a Google, Yahoo and MSN search for key terms like, “FBSM Chicago, Sensual Massage <your city>, to see which directories come up on the first few pages of the search engine. In Los Angeles, City-Source.com & ThatMall.com are some the top indexed, in San Francisco, MyRedbook.com and Lovings.com work well. In Washinton D.C, Avenue-X, Date-Check and Eros work well. In Las Vegas, Girl-Directory and SensualZen work well. National directories may be stronger in some regions than others.

Hi Everyone:
What is success? There are two types of success, corporate success and personal success.
The majority of people measure success by the amount in their bank account and by financial gain. It scares me when people measure success only by corporate coos, money in the bank and material possessions. But life is not just about work, climbing corporate ladders and making money. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t discourage this sort of success. These things are the rewards for brilliant ideas and not being afraid of trying new things. Creative solutions create new market space. But it is only a part, you can have all the money and material possessions in the world and still have unfulfilled desires. So let’s talk about the other type of successful people.
There are people measure success how they have enriched their life with friends and fulfilling their desire to see the last foreign place on their life’s “to see list”. Even though they may not be rich, these people have a lot of personal success. People who have personal success don’t generally focus on professional success at all times, they take time out for themselves and use all their vacation. They make sure and compartmentalize work life and family life. They take mental breaks and nurture themselves with time and meditation (regardless of religion). Some even just work as much as they need in order to go on their next adventure.
When someone can combine personal and professional success, they have figured out the equation and have achieved the goal of work and life balance.
If you haven’t, or have tried and not quit reached it, then maybe you should ask for help.

In preparation for being in front of the camera, I felt it was best to step behind and get a full understanding of how production works. I loved collaborating on a film series that explores MENTAL Eroticism with a slight BDSM edge. So it is me as the “camera woman”. I will be stepping forward soon in an erotica short about a lesbian couple and their sadistic relationship entitled, “Buildings of Chelsea.”
The Question Presented is:
“There is a sadistic side to every relationship. Someone is always emotionally smacked around. Is a sadistic element a necessity? Is it a need? A want? Is it jarring seeing the younger counterpart physically hit her older partner? Can it represent the love between the individuals involved?”
